| Riga Technical University (RTU) Ventspils Study and Science Centre was established to favour development of Latvian regions, cooperation with regional companies, to reduce manpower drain (abroad, to Riga and Riga region) and to attract additional funding for higher education in regions, for promotion of science, research and innovations.
Objective of the RTU Ventspils Study and Science Centre is to ensure availability of the RTU education, scientific and applied research in the Kurzeme region.
The RTU Ventspils Study and Science Centre offers studies in programmes of various levels – 1st Level Professional, Academic and Professional Bachelor’s study programmes.

| The College of Law is a higher education establishment that provides 1st Level Professional Higher Education/Short Cycle study programmes. The College of Law Ventspils Study Centre has been successfully operating since 2001.
The College of Law Ventspils Study Centre offers full-time studies of Law and distance learning in the following programmes: Human Resources Management, Law, Real Estate Administration and Management.
